Jim McRae, a native of Atlanta, has been a studio artist for many years and formerly taught figure drawing. He uses many media and techniques to explore the human figure, which is the major focus of his work.

Jim now lives in Franklin, NC. He is represented in Highlands, NC by Ashlee Harllee of the Harllee Gallery.
